Graduating Student Awards
Nomination Process: In order for a student to be considered for a Graduating Student Award, a complete nomination package must be received by February 24, 2020.? A nomination package consists of:
  • A nomination form submitted online (no self-nominations) *nominations close on February February 24, 2020.
  • A complete candidate profile form (students that have been nominated will recieve a link to complete this form)
  • One completed reference (named by candidate in candidate profile; the nominator cannot serve as a reference)
  • Please note that all candidates are considered for all eligible graduating student awards

Zach Ralston Award

The Zach Ralston Award recognizes academic excellence and contributions to the student life and community-building at St. Jerome's University.? Service outside of campus to local, hometown, national, and international communities may also be considered.

The Zach Ralston Award is awarded to a student in the calendar year of his/her undergraduate convocation.? It is normally awarded to a St. Jerome's academically registered student; however, when a suitable candidate cannot be found within the academic community, consideration may be given to any student with an identifiable connection to the St. Jerome's community (i.e. resident or member of faith community).? Normally, only one award is presented per calendar year; however, up to two awards may be presented to equally deserving candidates.?

University Life Award

The University Life Award recognizes academic achievement?and contributions to student life and community building at St. Jerome's University and/or service outside of campus to local, hometown, national, and international communities.

The University Life Award is awarded to a student in the calendar year of his/her undergraduate convocation.? It is normally awarded to a St. Jerome's academically registered student; however, when a suitable candidate cannot be found within the academic community, consideration may be given to any student with an identifiable connection to the St. Jerome's community (i.e. resident or member of faith community).? Community Contribution Award

The Community Contributions Award recognizes contributions to student life and community-building at St. Jerome's University; service outside of campus to local, hometown, national, and international communities may also be considered.

The Community Contribution Award is awarded to a student in the calendar year of his/her undergraduate convocation.? It is normally awarded to a St. Jerome's academically registered student; however, when a suitable candidate cannot be found within the academic community, consideration may be given to any student with an identifiable connection to the St. Jerome's community (i.e. resident or member of faith community).? Normally, up to five awards may be presented per calendar year

Graduating Student Awards Nomination Form

Awards:?This is the nomination form for St. Jerome’s University Graduating Student Awards: the Zach Ralston Award,?the University Life Award, and the Community Contributions Award.

Eligibility:?Candidates for Graduating Awards be must students with intentions to graduate in either June 2020?or October 2019.

Application Process:??Nomination forms must be completed by the nominator and submitted online. Once nominated, candidates will be notified by email that they have been nominated and asked to complete a Candidate Profile Form and provide the name/contact information of one reference. Once the Candidate Profile Form is submitted, references will be contacted via email and provided with an electronic reference form to complete and submit.

Application Deadline:?The?complete application package?(including Nomination Form, Candidate Profile Form, and 1 Reference) must all be received by?Friday, February 24th, 2020 by 12 noon..

Please Note:

  • Anyone may nominate a graduating student who has/will be completing his/her studies in December 2019, April 2020, or August 2020.
  • Self-nominations will NOT be accepted.
  • The Nomination Form must be completed and submitted early in order to provide the candidate and references enough time to complete their portions of the application process.?Please aim to submit this form before Monday, February 24, 2020.
